Afgang 2023: Jakob Birch

Exploring and navigating new sonic realities, 100%WET merges the vast distorted soundscapes of shoegaze, with the danceability of 90’ies breakbeats, pushiness from drum’n’bass and the nostalgia of vapor-wave. Rebooting the harddrive of indie rock programming, and yet staying rooted in the carelessness of grunge, 100%WET is an experimental collaboration between guitarist Jakob Birch and producer/guitarist Casper Munns, joined by the tender, yet insistent dreampop vocals of Amalie Petri. Live they join forces with synth maestro Martin Grishauge and drum-beast Rémy Gouffault for an intense collision of worlds. Hyper-gaze is here!

100%WET is a rising project between members of The Lost Weekend, Drop/Himmelrum and Polly, currently working on finishing an EP and aiming to release material in the fall of 2023.
