Afgang 2022: Johannes Nästesjö

For 20 years Johannes has been working within the genres of modern jazz, improvised and contemporary music as a professional double-bass player and teacher. His curiosity and urge to go deeper in the music as a double bass player and as an Improviser has brought him together with several musicians and dancers around the world and he has appeared on more than 40 recordings. At his exam concert you will hear the result of his two years of artist research based on a work called 'Reaching for the utmost limits, making a process visible with The Hands, the Bow, and the Bass'.
