Petal’s Fall

The observation of a petal falling towards a running stream of water became the starting point for a new compositional work. A feeling of slowness, heightened sensation and simplicity.

The ensemble combines elements from electronic, improvisational and contemporary music into a carefully balanced whole. Sounds are interwoven to a point where dreamful and wakeful states melt into each other - but all the details and the surrounding space remain crystal clear. The music creates a space comparable to a landscape, inviting listeners to explore new details, revisit familiar places or simply watch time pass.
