RMC & Sensorisk Verden are pleased to present a performance walk by soloist composer and researcher Alexander Holm. In Charged the audience is taken on a walk through the environment of Holmen, that radically questions the histories and hierarchies of this landscape. Voices and sounds turns the familiar into eerie stages, step by step through memory, movement and listening.

Charged is the graduation show of Alexanders Holm’s praxis based research project Sworld, which he has developed throughout the last three years on RMC. The project explores a both personal and societal sensory crisis/room of opportunity, asking how sound and listening can embody human experiences of absent objects, beings and spaces? Read the introduction here

The walk starts in the foyer of RMC and runs through the neighbourhood of Holmen.
Duration 1 hour. To participate you need to register in bottom of this page.

“As a phenomenon of sound and meaning Sworld is both absent and present at the same time. The absence of actual meaning enables it to trace images of things, beings and spaces. The unrecognizable evokes empty spaces inviting to be filled with endless amounts of possible meanings.”
