Joanne Robertson er en af tidens mest hypede skikkelser på den britiske musikscene med en række anmelderroste albums bag sig – senest udgivelsen 'Alien Baby' i samarbejde med den danske billedkunstner Sidsel Meineche Hansen.
Mange vil også kende Robertson fra hendes tætte samarbejder med andre af tidens stærkeste stemmer på den eksperimenterende musikscene heriblandt Dean Blunt, David Cunningham og Mica Levi.
Den amerikanske musikkritiker Byron Coley har skrevet om Joanne Robertson, at “her poetry, painting and music all have the same binary quality — they pour sugar directly onto raw wounds in a way that is healing and transformative. Alchemical, I guess.”
I 2016 udgav Robertson pladen 'Wildflower' på det danske pladeselskab og forlag Escho.

Joanne Robertson is one of the most hyped figures on the British music scene, with a number of critically acclaimed albums behind her - most recently the release 'Alien Baby' in collaboration with the Danish visual artist Sidsel Meineche Hansen.
Many will also know Robertson from her close collaborations with other of the era's strongest voices on the experimental music scene, including Dean Blunt, David Cunningham and Mica Levi.
