Afgang 2021: Joel Henryson

Joel Henryson invites you to the current state of his world, governed by an interest of timbre, space and the communication between people, sound and instruments.

On top of his own arsenal of strings and electronic instruments, there will be features from saxophonist Daniel Sousa and drummer Jonathan Jull Ludvigsen. Together they will share a space where the focus lies on the collective sound, timbre and breath - an active resting place for the listener.

The method for the trio is simple - minimal compositions expressed exponentially. A type of maximalist minimalism where the compositions function as a starting point for the music to take off. A concert for sounds and interplay.
