Discomforting Sounds 

Based on the question When does discomfort become alluring? drummer and producer Asger Tirsbæk Markman opens a sensory and contrast-rich exploration of tactility in electronic and acoustic sound. At the intersection of ambient techno, dance, texture, and noise, the work investigates discomfort, presence, and the materiality of sound moving between the physical and the fragile. These ideas converge in a live performance, composed and shaped throughout 2025.
