"A sickly inability to do things slowly"—so begins the concert in an explosion of sound, screams, and noise.

AMER crafts genre-defying music inspired by the Dada movement. Blending French and German into an imaginary language, they pair the text with interwoven rhythms and atonal melodies. By turns absurd, beautiful, clichéd, or experimental, their music places theatricality at the heart of the performance. The trio explores themes of sailing, Switzerland’s language barriers, hyperactivity, and class struggle in their compositions.

The concert closes with a gentle Berlin ballad, caught between ostentatious wealth, semi-domesticated foxes, and glaring poverty.
