Afgang 2026: Marius Zeeberg

In his masters-project 'Upcycling' Marius Zeeberg cuts up, morphs and rearranges the beautiful language of jazz from the past and present. With aggressively graphically distorted sheet music, Marius seeks to keep his talented inter-Scandinavian band on edge. To play this music, he gathered an all-star band of his four favorite young improvisers on the current Danish/Swedish/Norwegian jazz scene.

Marius Zeeberg is a saxophone player and composer within the realm of free-jazz, mostly active in Denmark and Sweden. He plays with his own trio, as well as the bands Bart Lewis Jubilee and FLEN.
