Afgang 2026: Leonor Arnaut

Regardless of different genres or scenes, I’ve always been interested in exploring the voice and all its attitude.

Lately, I’ve been doing that while focusing on the contrast between electronic and acoustic worlds.

Expect elements of pop and experimental music, Brazilian Tropicália and cinematic drama.

Some lyrics are in English, some in Portuguese. Sometimes there’s none.

Inspiration came from people around me, acting on instinct while traveling and momentary obsessions like Italian horror movies, women in medieval paintings or the color pink.

Moving from Lisbon to Copenhagen was divine, and so are the people I’m playing with in this concert!! - Amanda Apple, Magnus Kudsk, Gintė Preisaitė, Rémy Gouffault and a five-saxophone flock with Asger Nissen, Marius Zeeberg, Trīne, Inga Vamze and Gato.
