Afgang 2026: Asbjørn Busk Horne

The music is inspired by the danish word “rørelse”, describing a “touching” both emotionally and
physically through movement, and how the inner and outer can never be separated.

By placing double bass, saxophone and fragile autotune vocal inside an ultra-compressed popproduction,
tiny textures of “touching” are brought to the foreground.
Together with lyrics portraying distorted childhood memories, the music explores the connection
between authenticity and fantasy.

For each track, Asbjørn Busk Horne has drawn on personal musical references that have moved him
throughout his life from D-A-D and Chet Baker to A. G. Cook.

With a goal of concretely emphasizing and exploring how the physical (instruments, melodies,
memories) shapes the music and potential emotions.
