Anomalous Admirer

A handful of times in my life,
I had a specific kind of vision while listening or making music. Specific in the sense that the imagery forming in my head is always similar. That’s the origin of my master’s project, for which I set out to create a similar experience for others.

How do imagery and music transform each other?

In my music
I create distinct sound universes with entities that hold a tension between human, alien and machine. I worked with Sara to make some leftfield/avant-pop intimate songs, that these sounds weave themselves into and out of.

This audiovisual work
explores possible bridges between the unrecognizable and the emotionally relatable; perceptual anomalies between the visible world and inner realities. It is fluttering, fleeting, somehow familiar.
