madigan sounds like an early 2000s indie rock track that took a wrong turn into a South London techno club and got lost. The project is led by songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Johanne Møller, with drum’n’gaze musician Casper Munns as collaborator. The lyrics are as raw and confrontational as the beats beneath them — playing out like sonic snapshots. The 4am heartbreak warped by distortion and floating somewhere between vengeance and total collapse.
