'Traditions Meet Modern Sound'

Jógvan presents, ‘Traditions Meets Modern Sound’ a genrecrossing concert exploring the fusion of Faroese and Greenlandic musical traditions with contemporary pop.
The project combines kvæði (traditional Faroese ballads), chain dance rhythms, and Greenlandic drum dance with elements of minimalism, polyrhythms, and pop aesthetics.

The performance will feature original compositions built on church modes and repetitive melodic forms, evolving from minimalistic textures into rich, pop soundscapes.
