entrance/d is a movement devoted to the ecstatic potential of sound.

this concert is a ritual of systemic music for drums and six guitars that aim to summon the overwhelming; an ultrasonic bloodletting where feedback, self-oscillation and distortion blur the lines between trance and collapse. 

inspired by the intensity of spiritual free jazz, black metal and fanfares, Harald Ingvarsson explores extreme rhythms and distorted clusters as a gateway to altered states of being; on search for a pre-nihilistic transcendence, found not through despair but repetition, exhaustion and euphoric walls of sound.
