Afgang 2025: Frederik Blæsild Vuust

This concert will present newly composed music by Frederik Blæsild Vuust for the trio Bart Lewis JUBILEE.

These compositions stem from a deep and curious investigation of the art of the early 20th century; maybe something will peep through the 100-year veil, something fresh, something green and juicy.

This music searches for the slapstick moment, it dances, it reconciles, it is haunted, and it haunts. It is a music of sonic cartoons and unanswered questions.

Do you have an aversion to following orders? Where is the march marching to? Is the past even past? Is ragtime a ghost? Can ghosts dance? Is childhood ruined by logical thinking? Do you sometimes destroy ideas by thinking them?
