Afgang 2025: Erik Klinga

Erik Klinga (b.1991) is a Swedish composer and musician. Klinga is creating electroacoustic music with an interest in timbre, melody & harmony. The primary sound source and instrument that’s being used when Erik is composing and performing electronic music is a modular synthesis system in Buchla 200 format. With a curiosity in finding new sound relations the Buchla is often combined with acoustic instruments and sound sources together with field recordings. 

For this concert, Klinga has composed new music based on the interaction and experimentation with string instruments, resulting in a sound-world that drifts between dark ambient, minimalism, maximalism, drone and electronica.
