Seminar on contemporary pop and jazz education
Rhythmic Music Conservatory invites the PJP community to Copenhagen 27-28 October 2015.
”STUDENT CENTERED TEACHING & LEARNING - DEVELOPING DIVERSITY AND IDENTITY”
How can European conservatoires support the development of diversity and artistic identity amongst our pop and jazz students through a practical and systematic use of student centered teaching & learning.
The seminar will focus on how to work on a day-to-day basis with student centered teaching & learning, diversity and artistic identity. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and share how these important topics relates to areas like curriculum content, organisation of tuition, admission, assessment etc.
The seminar is organised as plenary and group sessions based on short presentations, demonstrations and musical performances by students and teachers.
