With fragmented structures and noisy elements, Julie Boda’s music is centered around trashed R&B in a mixture of good melodies and dissonans. She is working with an experimental vocal approach to explore the potential of the voice and make the personal voice take up space. Using the voice as an instrument to create new sounds and textures as she is searching for an unpredictability in the music.

At RMC Afgangsfestival 2021 she will present her work in a small constellation with acoustic piano, distorted guitar and three singers.
