Oscar Andreas Haug Quartet

Microtonal experiments, swinging grooves and explosions of rhythmic complexities... The Norwegian trumpet player Oscar Andreas Haug has carved out a niche for himself in Copenhagen with his lyrical sound and technical flexibility. With firm roots throughout the Norwegian scene, he’s since migrated to Denmark and is working on expanding his knowledge and expression within the realm of microtonal improvisation. Now he presents a brand new quartet with an international line-up of musicians all having a close connection to Copenhagen’s jazz and avant-garde scene.

Thiago Duarte Quintet

This project brings new compositions that transit through afro-brazilian claves and an attempt to dissolve them within a new soundscape, where the duality of latin american and european experiences collide and merge. Hybridity and new colors emerge through this interactive performance among musicians from different backgrounds and music that is situated on blurred frontiers.

Thiago Duarte (BR): Bass and compositions

P J Fossum (CA): Keys

Rasmus Jensen (DK): Drums

Lorenzo Colocci (IT): Flute

Oscar Haug (NO): Trumpet

Simon Forchhammer

Combining minimalistic compositions with abstract improvisations, this ensemble will both brutally and delicately find their way through intricate sonic landscapes. Fragmented memories of melodies and fragile noises from the subconscious.

Quiet Sonia

Quiet Sonia is a seven-piece chamber-rock group performing and interpreting the folk-influenced compositions of songwriter and guitarist Nikolaj Bruus. From an instrumentation of violin, piano and occasionally double-bass, in addition to the traditional rock lineup, a warm, atmospheric and organic - and at other times confronting and brutally beautiful - soundscape unfolds, reflecting the numerous musical passions of the band: including indie-rock, post-rock, jazz, ambient and modern classical music. QS is releasing their debut EP ‘Wild and Bitter Fruits’ June 10 2022.
