Grading
Examinations at RMC are divided into two categories: final examinations and progress tests. Appointed external examiners participate in the assessment of certain examinations. The assessment is based on either a 7-point scale, a pass/fail assessment, a written statement or a written evaluation. A ‘written evaluation’ is a graded assessment of a predetermined set of skills. The four forms of assessment can be used in combination, for example pass/fail accompanied by a written statement.

Once a year, Statistics Denmark compiles statistics on the employment of graduates from programmes under the Danish Ministry of Culture.

Completed current evaluations of the quality of the institution's teaching and teaching environment
Teaching evaluation
Two types of teaching evaluation are carried out at RMC: class evaluation and joint semester evaluation.
Class evaluation is an internal dialogue-based evaluation that takes place between the people who have participated in a course in order to anchor the benefits of this course and its connection to the study programme in general.
Once a year in December, the programme coordinators and students also conduct programme- and year-based joint evaluations of the teaching. Prior to the evaluation, all students complete electronic questionnaires, which are processed and form the basis for the group discussions.
Teaching environment assessment
Every three years, RMC conducts a teaching environment assessment among students at the conservatoire.
The survey focuses on the students' experience of the conservatory's physical, psychological and aesthetic teaching environment, the study administration, the lending and study guidance services, and the students' experience of the study environment, including their experience of the international study environment.
