Board

The board of RMC takes care of the overall strategic management and have the overall responsibility for operations, finances and development of RMC.

The board of RMC consists of the following members in the period 2023-2027:

  • Signe Lopdrup (leader of the board), CEO of Roskilde Festival Group
  • Emil de Waal, independent musician/composer/band leader
  • Lene Vive Christiansen, Program and Development Manager at VEGA
  • Mikkel Sørensen, Director at DTU Skylab
  • Agnes Fogh Schmidt, student at RMC (elected by the students for the period 2023-2025)
  • Jacob Anderskov, Professor with Special Assignments at RMC (elected by the teachers)
  • Claus Finderup, Programme Coordinator at RMC (elected by the  technical/administrative staff)

Foundation

The artistic educational institutions under the Danish Ministry of Culture are being managed by boards with effect from 1 September 2023.

The seven board positions is filled with four external members appointed by the Minister for Culture and three internal members elected at the conservatory. The Danish Ministry of Culture has received proposals for the boards in an open call where everyone has been able to nominate relevant candidates for the board position. The internal members consists of a student, a teacher and a technical/administrative employee from the institution.

The appointment period is from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2027, with exception of a two year period for the student board member.

Meeting material

The material from the board meetings, including agendas and minutes, are publicly available (in Danish) except for cases, documents or information covered by the Public Administration Act's rules on confidentiality. Cases dealt with behind closed doors can also be excluded from publicity.
