The Master's programme Music Education expands its applicant field
Music Education at Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) in Copenhagen is an advanced-level educational programme for music educators who wish to develop and strengthen their pedagogical knowledge, skills and competences. The programme has an emphasis on practical-pedagogical work within the field of rhythmic contemporary music – locally as well af globally.
Until now, it has required a Bachelor's degree from a music conservatory to apply. But when the application opens again in January 2024, the entry requirements have changed, and the Master's in Music Education is now also a possibility for applicants with a relevant Bachelor's degree in pedagogics or musicology from a Danish or foreign university or university college.
Music Education is a programme that focuses on competences in music education project development and offers good opportunities for peer collaboration and co-creation – and direct access to the Conservatory's extensive national and international networks.
The application for Music Education opens 2 January with deadline 5 February 2024 at 12:00 CET:
RMC will host online information meetings about admittance to the Master's programmes on 15 January:
