APD research from RMC published at Research Catalogue

To mark the Danish Science Festival 2025, RMC is showcasing a collection of artistic graduation projects from the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma programme at the conservatory's research portal.

Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) is happy to present five online expositions with artistic research from the graduation projects of former Advanced Postgraduate Diploma (APD) students at Research Catalogue - the largest international digital platform for artistic research.

The APD programme at RMC is a two-year training programme aimed at composers, sound artists and musicians at the highest artistic level within the field of contemporary music, and for the students the programme is anchored in a project giving experience and insight into practice-based artistic research.

The publication of the five projects highlights a diverse range of creative investigations, reflecting the unique artistic practices and methodologies explored by RMC’s APD alumni during their time at the conservatory. The initiative is part of RMC’s ongoing commitment to fostering and supporting artistic research as an integral part of music education and professional practice, and the publication serves as both an archive and a living resource, showcasing the depth of inquiry and experimentation that defines RMC’s artistic research environment. The aim of the publication is to increase visibility of and engagement with the APD alumni's artistic inquiry, innovation and contributions to the broader field of artistic research.
