Afgang 2023: The best of the next

RMC Afgangsfestival is Copenhagens grand festival for upcoming music and sound art: the yearly graduation festival at Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) with two weeks of summer evenings at Holmen in the middle of the city with exclusive and completely free music experiences from the top of the growth layer.

More than 50 final concerts and presentations by musicians, songwriters, producers and composers from the educational programmes at RMC are in the line up - with music in all genres, varieties and crossovers between pop, jazz, rock, urban, folk, metal, electronica, avant garde and sound installation.

That means RMC Afgangsfestival 2023 is a unique and very diverse opportunity to experience the best of the next - like a very local and free version of showcase festivals as Spot and By:larm. As always, the artistic level is towering among this year's hatched talent when the concert series returns in the four venues and event rooms at RMC from 12 to 22 June.

Everyone is welcome at RMC during the graduation festival: The eight festival days are without entrance fee or pre-registration so you can just show up, visit the bars and explore the sound of tomorrow.

In the court yard Mikkeller serves beer fresh from tap and Jacob & the Spices got stews for anyone hungry.
