K.óla
K.óla makes pop songs with playful melodies, performing on the electric bass. She is from Iceland and the majority of her released music in Icelandic but she is currently working on an album with English lyrics. She might be seen playing the guitar and singing. Her music is often built on simple repetitions but sincere and quirky at the same time, influenced by artists like Cate le bon, Fever Ray, Björk and many more.
Manic Pixie Dream Girls
New powerhouse rock-duo on the Nordic scene: Nina Larsen presents her duo project Manic Pixie Dream Girls alongside the talented Siggy Savery.
Together, they make up a dynamic duo touching on topics of feminism, female rage, sexuality, and mental health. Both Nina and Siggy have similar musical backgrounds – drawing inspiration from rock, pop, punk, and classical music. They are two shredders that sing mostly in unison and harmony… painting serene soundscapes within the realm of honest and feminine fantasy. The juxtaposition of Siggy’s warm, deep, and nuanced voice blends perfectly with Nina’s high, airy, and ethereal timbre. They cowrite most of their music, usually starting with two playful yet distorted electric guitars.
Come experience this powerhouse duo as they play with a full band.
