See you for vinterjazz at RMC

Four Thursdays in February the conservatory is hosting free concert evenings as part of the nationwide Vinterjazz festival.

In February, Rhythmic Music Conservatory (RMC) celebrates that the darkness of winter is slowly fading and spring will soon be knocking on the door.

As part of the nationwide Vinterjazz festival everybody is welcome at RMC to enjoy artist talks, a choir workshop and not least concerts with some of tomorrow's sparkling jazz stars and young pop icons in the conservatory's beautifully located hall Akvariet overlooking the dark waters of Erdkehlgraven at Holmen.

During Vinterjazz RMC lifts the lid to the experiments that is cooking beneath the surface of the educational institution in a multitude of different genres. The four concert evenings on the Thursdays of 1, 8, 22 and 29 February doesn't make strict distinctions between jazz, pop, experimental improv and noise rock - there's room for it all. Copenhagen's music audience will therefore have a unique opportunity to hear what is happening among the leading young instrumentalists and composers in the country.

The People Like Us brewery will be serving beer, water and other non-alcoholic drinks throughout the evening

Admission is free. Doors open half an hour before the first concert starts.

You can see the full program below and on the Vinterjazz homepage.
