Dilation Suite

The purpose of this project is to investigate my own artistic practice in respect to developing material and repetoire as a solo cornet/trumpet player (without backing). I wish to investigate how you can develop a personal sound and a vocabulary as an instrumentalist. In my process i wish to map what dialouges and developments I can have with my instrument - what connections and dificulties arise in my playing as a solo-performer when I am improvising over my own compositions? How can I find the most important essence in my sound on my instrument, in the material and how can I best portray feelings in my music?
