Video: What is the key subject Artistic Development all about?

An introduction to the "KUA" subject which is a focal point for most students at Rhythmic Music Conservatory.

The subject Artistic Development – colloquially known as KUA by its Danish abbreviation – is the backbone of the study programmes for musicians and composers at RMC on the Bachelors level as well as the Masters level.

KUA is about creating, performing and communicating music and musical experiences borne by an independent artistic expression – and the subject follows the students artistic process all the way from the first day until the final project at the graduation festival.

KUA is about sharing the process with fellow students and reflecting, discussing and perspectivating together. It is among other things about understanding methods and learning needs. And about understanding own work in relation to other music and art.
