Under the Rainbow

The project derives its starting-point from the desire to develop and refine the depth of free processes of improvisation together with two of the world's greatest figures in free jazz.
Jon Christensen and Arild Andersen are two of my heroes and mentors, who have been a source of inspiration to me since I was very young.
Jon Christensen is the master of “playing the unplayed” and in the trio, we examine how we can be in flow together while at the same time creating precise space for individuality.
The project thus becomes an attempt to acquire knowledge of and verbally describe the musical processes involved in improvisation and composition.
