The project will consist of a research article on the concept of ’Nordic Cool’ in a brand-based and aesthetic light, focusing on aspects of artistic and strategic inclusion as well as expulsion. The article combines knowledge and research from musicology as well as business studies. It is written in collaboration with the Icelandic assistant professor in business studies, Margret Sigrun Sigurarsdottir. The article will be part of an English research anthology on Nordic popular music culture.
