Afgang 2015: Karel Cuelenaere

Karel Cuelenaere is a Belgian pianist having a one-year stay in Copenhagen. For this concert two fresh compositions will be performed. 

One showcasing the Scandinavian freedom that influenced his writing since his arrival, with calm open episodes and colorful textures. And another piece sticking to his Belgian roots, music permeated with strange rhythms and cerebral concepts.
