Katharsis
Inspired by the principal of purification in Greek tragedy, the ensemble around Berlin-based guitarist Alexander Rueß explores their reflection on “Katharsis”. He presents his composition-cycle with two of his favourite musicians - Maria Faust (EE) on alto saxophone and pianist Matt Choboter (CA).
The intimacy of the trio format as well as the immediacy in their communication form the foundation for their self-cleaning experience.
