Artist Talk and Masterclass

Artist Talks and Masterclasses is an ongoing series of artist meetings at RMC.

The ambition is to offer a broad variety of inspiring meetings, which both reflects the artistic and esthetical diversity within RMC’s educational programs and in contemporary rhythmical music in general.

The artist meetings will typically contain the following elements;

  • Interview and/or demonstration of work methods (dialog, interaction, musical interplay)
  • Questions and debate (discussion, perspectives)

The artist meeting are always facilitated by a host (teacher, student or external moderator)

Most often the artist meetings takes place at RMC. However, events can also be held at external locations such as local music venues.

To ensure relevance and up-to-date themes, a student-based panel are involved in curating the artist meetings.

Artist Talks and Masterclasses are open for everybody and are being promoted at, Twitter and on Facebook. Note; reservations in advance can occur

Artist Talks and Masterclasses are coordinated by  Jan Høgh Stricker, coordinator, Events and Domestic Partnerships.
