On the road to Cairo
The story had begun when a jazz musician moved to Cairo to learn Arabic music. Throughout his adventure, he met two beautiful and talented Egyptian musicians. Fascinated by each other by their respective culture, they started experimenting to find a new language who took root in both worlds.
Exploring the possibilities of this uncommon trio and the blending of sounds of nay (Arabic flute), bass clarinet and Arabic percussions, On the road to Cairo is an invitation to travel. The musicians are bringing together peoples, societies and cultures the time of an intimate concert.
