In collecting and producing sound, I strive to provoke a sense of timelessness and transcendence, all in the pursuit of a more collective experience of listening as a vehicle for better understanding ourselves in the world.
During the last two years I have undertaken experiments and investigations, within my own musical practice and through that of others, searching for ways to cultivate my own artistic process and open up to the spectrum of listening.
The varied work of this period culminates in this evening's concert at RMC, where the sounds played will work as a mirror, reflecting the listener back to him/herself, opening up to more meditative states of mind.
Now I will do nothing but listen…
I hear all sounds running together, combined, fused or following,
Sounds of the city and sounds out of the city, sounds of the day and night.
